Since December 2021, Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) has had the honor of being appointed as one of the venues for Indonesian G20 Presidency meeting series.
The Finance Track meetings of the G20 1st Finance and Central Bank Deputies held on 9-10 December 2021 and attended by 228 delegates including Finance Minister’s Deputies, Central Bank Deputies from G20 member countries, 8 invited countries, 4 regional organizations and 18 international organizations.
In year 2022, the G20 3rd Finance and Central Bank Deputies continued their meeting on the 13 to 14 July as the Finance Track preliminary meeting to the 3rd Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting on 15 July. Held in hybrid format, the meeting was attended by 19 Finance Ministers, 11 Central Bank Governors and 527 delegations. Numerous sideline events were also held as part of the meeting series namely high-level seminars,global discussion sessions, bilateral meetings and an exhibition as a showcase of Indonesia 5 Super Priority Tourism Destinations and Bali’s Small Medium Enterprise (SME) products. In August, the G20 3rd Development Working Group and various side events were successfully held on 10-12 August and continued with G20 3rd Meeting of the Environment Deputies Meeting and Climate Sustainability on 29-30 August followed by G20 Joint Environment and Climate Minister’s Meeting on the 31st.
State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) International Conference as a flagship event in Indonesia’s G20 Presidency was successfully held on 17-18 October. The conference is a platform for leaders from the government, SOE’s and private sector share insights, best practices and way forward on SOE’s transformation and role to drive the sustainably and inclusive growth. Attended by more than 800 delegates including former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Tony Blair.
Various G20 meeting and event series were held back-to-back in mid-November namely G20 Digital Transformation Expo, G20 Pride of Indonesia Expo, Ocean20, Tri Hita Karana Forum, T20 and B20 Summit.
B20 Indonesia Summit is the official G20 dialogue forum with the global business community. This year, the B20 Summit took place on 13-14 November hosted and organized by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Attended by 2000 global CEOs, numerous stakeholders from the international business community from 69 countries and Heads of State in business round table, agreement signing ceremony, bilateral meeting and delivered keynote speech respectively are President of the Republic of Indonesia H.E Joko Widodo, President of South Korea H.E. Yoon Suk-yeol, Prime Minister of Australia H.E. Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Canada H.E. Justin Trudeau and President of United Arab Emirates H.E. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
