B20 Summit is the official G20 dialogue forum with the global business community. This year, the B20 Summit took place on 13-14 November hosted and organized by the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the behest of the Government of Indonesia, which held the G20 presidency in 2022.
Attended by more than 2000 global CEOs, numerous stakeholders from the international business community from 69 countries and Heads of State in business round table, agreement signing ceremony, bilateral meeting and delivered keynote speech respectively are President of the Republic of Indonesia H.E Joko Widodo, President of South Korea H.E. Yoon Suk-yeol, Prime Minister of Australia H.E. Anthony Albanese, Prime Minister of Canada H.E. Justin Trudeau, President of United Arab Emirates H.E. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of international associations as World Economic Forum and Asian Development Bank and Ministers from Indonesia Cabinet.
The summit was started with an opening session and continued with high level panels presenting numerous prominent speakers then followed by breakout sessions in silent conference formation.
Numbers of speakers from global business community namely Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Anne Hathaway and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands delivered valuable insights and conducted various panel sessions in the two days conference.
The Business 20 (B20) which established in 2010 is among the most prominent Engagement Groups in G20 and is tasked with formulation policy recommendations on designated issues. These recommendations are then delivered to the G20 Presidency at the B20 Summit, which takes place around the G20 Leaders Summit.
