The 61st Asian Africa Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) has been held from 16-20 October 2023. Indonesia submitted a proposal regarding the formation of an Asset Recovery Expert Forum. This forum aims to unite and fight for the various interests of Asian and African countries, especially in the field of law and legal cooperation.
Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna Laoly explained that the results would be presented at a number of international meetings, including the United Nations (UN).
On the same date, the side event activity of the 61st Annual Session of AALCO held a panel discussion with the same theme. This event also presented several exhibitors who were also visited by several representatives from AALCO member countries.
