The 4th South East Asian Thoracic Society (SEATS) Annual Meeting was successfully held from October 23 to 26, 2025, at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC), bringing together delegates and experts from across the nations.
The congress was centered on the theme: “Gathering of Minds to Shape The Future of Thoracic Healthcare.” This theme served as a vital reminder of the accelerating evolution within thoracic surgery, pulmonology, and oncology, where breakthroughs once considered distant are now advancing at a remarkable speed, from minimally invasive techniques to cutting-edge tools.
The event provided an essential opportunity for regional and global practitioners to stay sharp, united, and forward-thinking as knowledge in the field continues to accelerate.Beyond emphasizing the urgency of innovation, the 4th SEATS served as a pivotal platform for sharing experiences and the latest research findings. It featured distinguished speakers from Indonesia and abroad, addressing a wide range of critical subjects—from the Current Status of Thoracic and Pulmonary Healthcare in ASEAN to the Rising Challenge on Multiple Primary Lung Cancer.
The annual meeting reaffirmed the Society’s commitment to facilitating a space for sharing, learning, and challenging one another to reach new heights in clinical care and research. The BNDCC was proud to host this gathering of minds, enabling experts to collaborate and collectively shape the future of thoracic health care in Southeast Asia and beyond.
