The 41st ASEAN Ministers on Energy Meeting (AMEM) held on 22-26 August 2023. AMEM aims for intensive cooperation in the development of potential energy resources in the ASEAN region, attracting private sector participation, and investment in the ASEAN energy sector.
This event will have a target in encouraging the further development of cross-border energy infrastructure projects among the AMS to reach sustainable energy security through interconnectivity.
AMEM attended by 15 Ministers from 15 countries. 12 Ministers from Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Philippines and Timor-Leste (ASEAN Countries) and 3 other Ministers from Korea, Japan and China (Guest Countries).
