5th Congress of the World Conference on Constitutional Justice held from 4 until 7 October 2022.
Started with joint conference of the Association of Asian Constitutional Court and quivalent Institutions (AACC) and the Conference of Constitutional Jurisdictions of Africa (CCJA) on 4 October and continued on the next day with opening ceremony, meeting sessions, short course, paper presentations and discussions.
The congress was officially opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia H.E Joko Widodo and the opening ceremony was attended by 700 participants including 500 delegates from 118 Constitutional Courts and Councils and Supreme Courts in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia/Oceania and Europe; Indonesia Foreign Minister Ibu Retno Marsudi; Governor of Bali Bapak Wayan Koster; President Emeritus, Special Representatives of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe H.E. Gianni Buquicchio and Chief Justice of the Constitutional Court of Indonesia H.E. Anwar Usman as the host of this prestigious event.
