AWMUN XV 2026 Gathers 700 International Youth Delegates

The Asia World Model United Nations (AWMUN) XV held from 2 to 4 October 2026.

Organized by the International Global Network (IGN), this premier youth diplomacy conference brought together 700 delegates from over 50 countries, providing a world-class platform for young leaders aged 11-25 to simulate United Nations proceedings.

The conference officially commenced on 2 October 2026 with the Opening Session, highlighted by opening remarks and a keynote speech delivered by the Minister of Environment of the Republic of Indonesia (Menteri Lingkungan Hidup RI). The Minister underscored the pivotal role of youth in addressing global environmental challenges, sustainability, and climate diplomacy.

Beyond the formal Committee Sessions, the three-day agenda was enriched with a comprehensive series of programs, including the Grand Symposium, Thematic Workshops, Diplomatic Seminars, Cultural Performances, and a Gala Dinner. These activities were designed to enhance delegates’ skills in negotiation, public speaking, critical thinking, and cross-cultural leadership.
