The Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception of 33rd International Confederation of Midwives Triennial Congress held on Sunday, 11 June 2023 marks the start of the global midwives conference which will be held until 14 June 2023. The international conference was officially opened by Deputy Governor of Bali Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati and attended by 2,200 delegates from 130 member countries.
33rd International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) Triennial Congress brought global community of midwives together again to build relationships, cultivate ideas, identify pathways for progress, and bring evidence into reality. Plenary sessions held daily to start the days of the congress and continued with numerous concurrent sessions, workshops and satellite symposiums in which every sessions were filled by enthusiastic delegates of this prestigious global conference.
