Pekan Riset Sawit Indonesia (PERISAI) 2024, a leading event in the palm oil industry was held in Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) on 3-4 October 2024 with the theme “Green Gold: Transforming Palm Oil Industry Through Cutting-Edge Technologies.” The event was attended by over 500 participants.
PERISAI featured panel discussions, an exhibition, and a final competition for a student research competition. The event connected various stakeholders to drive the progress of Indonesia’s palm oil industry, providing a tremendous opportunity to strengthen relationships between stakeholders and utilize sustainable research results.
The 8th PERISAI aimed to disseminate the latest research results to various industry players, including MSMEs and cooperatives, policy makers, academics, and the public, with the aim of maximizing technology utilization and accelerating the commercialization of research products. This is expected to encourage the progress of Indonesia’s palm oil industry towards better ICC and higher sustainability.
