The Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors (ACIIA) Regional Conference

The Asian Confederation of Institutes of Internal Auditors (ACIIA) Regional Conference was held on 28-29 August 2024, attended by more than 730 participants from 19 countries. ACIIA Regional Conference theme “Purposeful Impact” which is intended for auditors to optimize the impact of their work on critical issues for the organization and its surroundings.

It was opened by Angela Simatupang (President of IIA Indonesia), with keynote speeches by Michael Gallego (President of ACIIA), Sally-Anne Pitt (Chair of IIA Global Board 2023-2024), and the Chair of the Board of Commissioners of the Financial Services Authority, represented by Sophia Wattimena, Chair of the Audit Board and concurrent Commissioner of the Financial Services Authority.

ACIIA is an excellent and timely opportunity for internal auditors to discuss common and emerging risks and challenges, stay up-to-date on new technologies and leading practices, interact with IIA global and regional leaders, and learn from experts and peers in the Asia Pacific region.
