The Fourth Congress of the Asia Pacific Society for Scar Medicine (APSSM) 2024 was held in Bali on 7-9 November 2024. The theme of the meeting, “Scar Aesthetic Concern for the Best Outcomes,” attracted approximately 130 participants, including plastic surgeons, dermatologists, general surgeons, physical medicine and rehabilitation specialists, obstetricians and gynecologists, physiotherapists, general practitioners, researchers, and other healthcare professionals from across Asia and other continents.

The congress provided a platform for healthcare professionals to share research results and clinical experiences, facilitate networking and collaboration, and promote the advancement of plastic surgery through the exchange of ideas and knowledge. It is hoped that this meeting will contribute to improving the quality of education, knowledge, and healthcare services in Indonesia.
