The Asian Society of Gynecologic Oncology (ASGO) 2024 Meeting, held in Bali, Indonesia, commenced on 29 November 2024, with an opening ceremony led by Dr. Yudi Mulyana Hidayat, President of the Indonesian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (ISOG), and a welcome address from Prof. Masaki Mandai, President of ASGO. The meeting, themed ‘Close the Gaps in Gynecologic Cancer Care in Asia,’ attracted over 1,000 participants from across the region.
The event featured a diverse scientific program, including 343 abstracts, 15 parallel sessions, 5 master sessions, 5 plenary sessions, and 7 workshops with 141 speakers and moderators. The aim was to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among medical professionals treating gynecologic cancers, discussing the latest advancements in the field.
A gala dinner was held on 30 November 2024, and was officially opened by Prof. Masaki Mandai. The event provided a delicious dinner, accompanied by a captivating Kecak dance performance and a talent show.
As a biennial event, ASGO serves as a key platform for Asian experts to discuss the latest advancements in gynecologic oncology treatment and care, complementing various conferences held throughout the year.
