Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center Officially Appointed as the Venue of the COP-4 to the Minamata Convention on Mercury 2021

Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) proudly announce the appointment to be the official venue of the 4th Conference of the Parties (COP-4) to the Minamata Convention on Mercury in 2021.

The Minamata Convention on Mercury is an international agreement to control and reduce the use of mercury, effective since 2017 and ratified by 114 countries, including Indonesia.

Indonesia’s election is announced at the COP-3 Minamata Convention on Mercury in Geneva, 25 November 2019.  Hosting the COP-4 to the Minamata Convention on Mercury 2021 will provide a momentum for Indonesia to perform its central role in environmental diplomacy.

The attendance of more than 1,500 of delegates at the COP-4 is an opportunity that should be truly utilized by all Indonesian stakeholders, especially to garner international supports for national policies in mercury reduction.

This prestigious event will take place on 31 October to 5 November and hosted by Indonesia Ministry of Environment and Forestry.

BNDCC has a track record of hosting high-profile conferences and will host another reputable events in the coming years including the 32nd Triennial International Confederation of Midwives Congress (ICM) and Associated Meetings, World Cocoa Conference, and Asia Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver.
