The Covid-19 vaccine center is the collaboration of the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy together with Grab Indonesia and Good Doctor. Held from 27 February until 3 March 2021, the vaccine center is prepared for vaccination for estimated 5,000 people from tourism stakeholders, public transportation services, Grab’s ride-hailing and delivery drivers all located in Bali.

The vaccine center consists of two scheme services, walk-in service and the drive-thru service which is the first implemented both in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. On 27 February, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Uno visited the facility accompanied by Bali Deputy Governor, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardana Sukawati whilst on the next day, 28 February, the Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin and Bali Governor, Wayan Koster officially launched the center.
