5th World Planning Schools Congress in conjunction with 16 th Asian Planning Schools Association Congress

The 5th World Planning Schools Congress (WPSC) in conjunction with 16th Asian Planning Schools Association (APSA) Congress hosted by The Indonesian Planning Schools Association. Held from 29 August until 1 September 2022, the congress held in a hybrid format and brought up “Planning a Global Village: Inclusion, Innovation, and Disruption” as the main theme. Started with pre-congress in 29 August followed by plenary session in the next day and continued with parallel sessions which consist of 13 tracks different sessions; mobile workshop which designed to offer the congress participants an educational experience through locally sourced examples of places and projects; on 1 September The Global Planning Education Association Network (GPEAN) and Asian Planning Schools Association (APSA) held meetings as closing sessions of this world congress. Located at BNDCC 2 the congress was attended by more than 850 participants including 770 registered participants of GPEAN and APSA members with 347 in person participants and 323 online participants, invited guests, speakers, and student teams from 44 countries.
