The Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) is a growing partnership of over 64 nations, international organizations, and non-governmental stakeholders to help build countries’ capacity in advancing a world safer and more secure from infectious disease threats and elevating global health security as a national and global priority.
GHSA is facilitating collaborative capacity-building efforts to support countries accelerate the development and maintenance of the core capacities required under the World Health Organization’s (WHO’s) International Health Regulations (IHR), the World Organization of Animal Health’s (OIE) Performance of Veterinary Services Pathway, the WHO-FAO Codex Alimentarius International Food Standards, and other relevant global health security frameworks.
5th GHSA Ministerial Meeting was held on 6 – 8 November 2018. Under the theme “Advancing Global Partnerships”, the meeting was officially opened by RI Minister of Health H.E. Nila Moeloek and attended by RI Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs and more than 600 delegates.
