Held in three days started from 7 until 10 November 2016, the 85th INTERPOL General Assembly was attended by 1200 delegates from 167 INTERPOL member countries.
The General Assembly is composed of delegates appointed by the governments of member countries. As INTERPOL's supreme governing body, it meets once a year and takes all the major decisions affecting general policy, the resources needed for international cooperation, working methods, finances and programmes of activities.
On the 7th, the General Assembly was officially opened by Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia H.E. Jusuf Kalla. Accompanied by President of INTERPOL  Mireille Ballestrazzi, INTERPOL Secretary General Jurgen Stock and Chief of Indonesian National Police Tito Karnavian, the opening ceremony was taking place at Nusa Dua Hall of BNDCC 1.logo facebook
